POST TREATMENT

CoolPeel Pre-treatment Instructions: 7-21 Days Before: Moisturize skin twice daily and drink 8 glasses of water. Avoid sun; use mineral sunscreen (30+ SPF). 3-7 Days Before: Stop using retinoids and AHA/BHA products. Get a cold sore prevention prescription if needed.

Ensure that all hairspray, makeup, gel, ointments, lotions, and self-tanning products are removed before your appointment. Avoid using an alcohol-based cleanser, as it can strip moisture from the treatment area. Topical numbing may be applied and then removed prior to the procedure.

Beginning a medical grade (can only be sold by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician) skin care line can be simple and affordable with Getting Skin Ready Basics, or can target specific areas of concern with advanced serums. This can include acne, skin brightening, skin firming, fine lines and wrinkles, scarring and rosacea etc

Skin care consultations are free and usually take 30 minutes. Skin is assessed and overall goals and concerns are addressed during this time. Clients can purchase products in clinic if desired

POST TREATMENT

Clients can expect to see results with consistent use of an individualized skin care regimen relatively quickly depending on the product and specific client goals. Follow up at a month is recommended

PRE-CARE TREATMENT

Be prepared for your treatment to get the best results!

Eating: Have a meal before your SunnaSmile whitening treatment. After your session, wait at least one hour before eating or drinking anything other than water.

Dental Cleaning: For optimal results, ensure you’ve had a dental cleaning within the last 6 months.

Piercings: Remove any oral piercings before your treatment.

Sores or Cuts: Make sure your mouth is free of sores or cuts, as these can cause discomfort during treatment.

POST-CARE TREATMENT

Keep your smile bright and lasting!

First Hour: Drink only water and avoid all food and beverages for one hour after your session.

First 24 Hours: Avoid foods and drinks that may cause stains, such as blueberries, tomato sauce, beets, carrots, red wine, coffee, tea, and colas.

White Spots on Teeth: You may notice temporary white spots on your teeth. These are usually due to calcium deposits or porous areas and typically disappear within 24 hours.

White Spots on Gums: If you have any minor cuts or scrapes on your gums, white spots or slight sensitivity may occur during the session. These usually resolve within 24 hours.

Sensitivity: Some people may experience minor tooth or gum sensitivity. This normally fades within 30 minutes. If it persists, use a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth.

Touch-Up Treatments: We recommend a 20-minute touch-up every 6–12 months, either at home or in-studio, to maintain your bright smile.

At-Home Touch-Ups: You can also purchase our whitening + aftercare gel to add to your nightly toothpaste routine for continued whitening and to prevent re-staining.
