Botox

WRINKLE RELAXERS

Botox is the brand name of the botulinum toxin and can also be called Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva. It works by interrupting the signal between nerves and muscles, which causes muscles to relax. This helps to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Botox can also be used to treat medical conditions such as TMJ, headaches and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Small amounts of the injection are made until the desired effect is achieved. The whole appointment usually takes about 10-25 minutes.

Post Treatment

Clients can begin to see results within the first week after treatment, however full results are visible at 14 days following your appointment.

Wrinkle relaxers require minimal downtime and everyday activities can be resumed immediately. However, we do ask that clients remain upright/no hot shower x 4 hours but no strenuous exercise should be for 24 hours following your appointment.

Botox treatments are recommended every 3 to 5 months with a two week follow up after the initial treatment.

Platelet-Rich Plasma

SKIN REJUVENATION AND HAIR RESTORATION

A small sample of blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate the white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. The platelets are then injected into the target areas for treatment. This platelet-rich mixture contains growth factors that work to stimulate healing and can resolve underlying inflammation and connective tissue degeneration.

Dermal Fillers

DEFINE & ENHANCE

Dermal Fillers are a minimally invasive treatment to create and restore volume to your skin that is lost through the aging process or improper care of the skin.

Made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body, fillers can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, add volume to lips, treat facial volume loss and act as an anti-aging treatment for hands.

Dermal filler plans can be over a year to meet patient goals by slowly building. Fillers last 6 to 18 months depending on the product used and areas injected. Multiple appointment are often needed to meet patient goals (especially with lips).

sculptra

Collagen Biostimulator

Sculptra (PLLA) is prescription medication approved for boosting facial volume and the body’s natural collagen, improving skin quality and bringing out your youthful glow!

The medication is a natural approach to replacing volume loss and boosting collagen. It is injected into face using freezing and ice for comfort. This appointment usually takes 60 minutes. Occasionally Sculptra can be used in off label in certain areas such as the décolleté and buttock.

Post Treatment

Clients can begin to see results at about 4 weeks, with full results at 6-9 months. A series of treatments is required for patients looking for volume restoration. The rule of thumb is one vial per decade of life. Two vials can be injected per session, 4-6 weeks apart. Localized swelling, bruising and redness are to be expected for the first week post treatment. At home facial massage is required for the first 5 days post treatment.

BioRepeel

No Downtime Chemical Peel

BioRepeel is a chemical peel that targets the dermis and treats skin imperfections such as sun damage, acne, rosacea, uneven texture, pores and dryness. Because it targets the dermis, it is considered a “no peel” peel without any downtime. Experience the peel alone or add to your SkinPen treatment for the ultimate glow year round!

Relax and unwind with our BioRePeel facial using ZO products to cleanse, exfoliate and tone the skin. Warm towels and facial massage enhance your experience. Post peel, SPF will be applied prior to leaving the clinic. This treatment takes 30 minutes and can be done year round.

Post Treatment

Clients will notice an overall glow as early as the following day. With very little/no peeling. 4-5 treatments one week apart are recommended for optimal results, or 1 treatment monthly for 3 months if combined with SkinPen.

ZoSkinCare

Skin Care  

 ZO Skin Care is an award winning prescription line of skin care products designed to take a comprehensive approach to creating and maintaining healthy skin at any age, with any skin type.

Beginning a medical grade (can only be sold by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician) skin care line can be simple and affordable with Getting Skin Ready Basics, or can target specific areas of concern with advanced serums. This can include acne, skin brightening, skin firming, fine lines and wrinkles, scarring and rosacea etc

Skin care consultations are free and usually take 30 minutes. Skin is assessed and overall goals and concerns are addressed during this time. Clients can purchase products in clinic if desired

POST TREATMENT

Clients can expect to see results with consistent use of an individualized skin care regimen relatively quickly depending on the product and specific client goals. Follow up at a month is recommended

Microneedling with SkinPen Precision

COLLAGEN STIMULATOR

SkinPen is the gold standard of microneedling devices across the world and is Health Canada approved for use by medical professionals. SkinPen is used to treat a wide array of skin concerns including: acne scarring, surgical scars, melasma, as well as fine lines and wrinkles of the face, neck and chest

This treatment can be combined with PRP, Sculptra, and Accelerated Firming Serum at an increased cost. Treatments typically take 1 hour with 30 minutes of that time used to numb the skin to make this procedure quite comfortable.

POST TREATMENT

Clients can expect 3-4 days of down time with this treatment as redness is expected and bruising and swelling are common. Three treatments spaced a month apart are recommended for optimal results. C02 Lift masks can be added to the this treatment or taken home to decrease down time.

CoolPeel and DekaPeel

POST TREATMENT

CoolPeel Pre-treatment Instructions: 7-21 Days Before: Moisturize skin twice daily and drink 8 glasses of water. Avoid sun; use mineral sunscreen (30+ SPF). 3-7 Days Before: Stop using retinoids and AHA/BHA products. Get a cold sore prevention prescription if needed.

Ensure that all hairspray, makeup, gel, ointments, lotions, and self-tanning products are removed before your appointment. Avoid using an alcohol-based cleanser, as it can strip moisture from the treatment area. Topical numbing may be applied and then removed prior to the procedure.

PRE-CARE TREATMENT

Be prepared for your treatment to get the best results!

Eating: Have a meal before your SunnaSmile whitening treatment. After your session, wait at least one hour before eating or drinking anything other than water.

Dental Cleaning: For optimal results, ensure you’ve had a dental cleaning within the last 6 months.

Piercings: Remove any oral piercings before your treatment.

Sores or Cuts: Make sure your mouth is free of sores or cuts, as these can cause discomfort during treatment.

POST-CARE TREATMENT

Keep your smile bright and lasting!

First Hour: Drink only water and avoid all food and beverages for one hour after your session.

First 24 Hours: Avoid foods and drinks that may cause stains, such as blueberries, tomato sauce, beets, carrots, red wine, coffee, tea, and colas.

White Spots on Teeth: You may notice temporary white spots on your teeth. These are usually due to calcium deposits or porous areas and typically disappear within 24 hours.

White Spots on Gums: If you have any minor cuts or scrapes on your gums, white spots or slight sensitivity may occur during the session. These usually resolve within 24 hours.

Sensitivity: Some people may experience minor tooth or gum sensitivity. This normally fades within 30 minutes. If it persists, use a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth.

Touch-Up Treatments: We recommend a 20-minute touch-up every 6–12 months, either at home or in-studio, to maintain your bright smile.

At-Home Touch-Ups: You can also purchase our whitening + aftercare gel to add to your nightly toothpaste routine for continued whitening and to prevent re-staining.
